The investigation established that on October 4, the head of the department, S. E., and the chief inspector, M. K., conducted inspections of retail outlets and meat shops in the Aravan district without the necessary permits, extorting money from the owners under the pretext of "identified violations."
Based on these circumstances, the Aravan district prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case under Article 337 "Abuse of official position" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Currently, investigative activities are underway.
