According to information from the department, the police received an operational report about the distribution of hashish in the city. Operational officers were involved to verify this information.
The detention occurred on November 10 near a café on Shakirov Street. The suspect turned out to be a previously convicted resident of the southern capital, born in 1965.
During a personal search, 3.44 grams of hashish were found on him.
In the course of investigative actions, the detainee pointed to the locations of stash spots in an apple orchard in the village of Shark, Kara-Suu district. Packages wrapped in cellophane were extracted from these hiding places. An examination confirmed that the total weight of the seized narcotic amounted to 829.22 grams of hashish.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Article 282 "Illegal trafficking of narcotic substances" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
After the detention on November 10, the man was placed in a temporary detention facility. The court chose a measure of restraint — detention until January 14, 2026.
