The received message mentioned that several citizens in Karakol were engaged in illegal fishing and selling of fish.
This information was registered with the Karakol City Internal Affairs Department, and in connection with this, a criminal case was initiated under Article 310 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning illegal hunting and fishing.
As a result of operational-search activities conducted by the staff of the Karakol City Internal Affairs Department, the identities of the suspects were established, and planned searches were carried out in their homes. During these activities, the following was discovered:
- In the residence of a resident of the village of Chepelik, G.B., born in 1952, 16 cartridges of caliber 5.45 and 2 cartridges of caliber 7.62 were found.
- In the house and outbuildings of the city resident R.M., born in 1974, the following was discovered: 16 three-liter jars, presumably of moonshine; about 15 liters of an unknown alcoholic beverage in a wooden container; 2 plastic containers of 10 liters with pure alcohol; 18 fish; 107 casings from rifled weapons; 14 cartridges of caliber 7.62; 5 fishing hooks; several fishing tackle; one shotgun of the "Typhoon" brand and a smoothbore shotgun IZH-58 (both have documents); as well as four presumed wolf paws.
- In the house and buildings of a resident of the village of Pristan-Przhevalsk, P.N., born in 1975, one pneumatic weapon was found without the necessary permits.
- In the residence and outbuildings of T.A., born in 1982, also from Pristan-Przhevalsk, 9 bottles of "Korona" drink of 10 liters each and 14 packs of water of 250 grams labeled "Zam Zam" were found.
- At the home of a resident of Pristan-Przhevalsk, B.M., born in 1977, 27 frozen fish and a 40-liter barrel of fermented alcohol were discovered in the freezer.
- In the house and buildings of T.M., born in 1978, a resident of Karakol, 3.5 kg of a black-green substance with a characteristic smell of wild hemp was found.
- In the residence of A.K., born in 1977, also from Karakol, 25 grams of a black-green substance with a characteristic smell of wild hemp, as well as 35 grams, presumably of hashish, were found.
- At I.U., born in 1993, a resident of Karakol, during a search of the house and personal inspection of clothing, 10 grams of presumably hashish in the form of a flat round ball, 4 grams in four different forms, as well as a piece weighing 7 grams found in the yard were discovered.
All seized substances have been sent for examination, and investigative actions are ongoing.
