In the Issyk-Kul region, active measures to protect the environment and combat illegal fishing are ongoing, as reported by the local police.

Under the leadership of Murat Bronov, the head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, along with his deputy Ulan Orozaliev and representatives of the police department of the city of Karakol, control is being exercised to ensure compliance with environmental regulations along the coastline from the village of Pristan-Przhevalsk (Karakol zone) to the village of Lipenka in the Jeti-Oguz district.

To patrol forest and coastal areas that are inaccessible to vehicles, police officers used horses. This allowed for effective prevention of illegal fishing and maintenance of order.

During the raids, law enforcement also held informational meetings with local residents and fishermen, emphasizing the importance of preserving nature and adhering to environmental legislation, as well as safety rules.
