During their patrol, the officers noticed smoke coming from the forest. Although the initial fire source appeared small, strong winds contributed to its rapid spread, threatening the surrounding flora. The police officers decided to immediately start extinguishing the fire.
Using shovels from their service vehicle and water from a nearby source, the police officers were able to localize the flames. Thanks to their efforts, about 30 acres of forest area were preserved. By the time the firefighters arrived, the active burning had been completely stopped.

Platoon commander Adyl Ishenbaev noted: "Every minute counted. If we hadn't acted immediately, the fire could have spread deeper into the forest, and the consequences would have been catastrophic."
