According to information provided by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, a 25-year-old driver of a "Mercedes-Benz," who was also a resident of the area, died as a result of the incident.
The accident took place on November 11 on the Balıkchy—Bokonbaev—Karakol road. According to preliminary data, a "BMW X5" traveling east crossed into the oncoming lane while overtaking, where it collided with the "Mercedes" coming from the opposite direction.
"As a result of the collision, the driver of the 'Mercedes-Benz' died at the scene," the press service reports.
This case has been registered in the Unified Register of the Jeti-Oguz District Internal Affairs Department, and necessary examinations and investigative activities are currently underway.
