Turmush previously reported that on October 31, a tragedy occurred on the international highway Osh–Sary-Tash–Irkeshtam, during which five young men died in a Tesla vehicle.
According to the press service of the Osh region police, a 24-year-old driver of a HOWO truck has been detained, who is suspected of causing the traffic accident. His name is E.A., and he is a local resident born in 2001.
On November 1, the court in the Alai district decided to place him in custody for a period of two months.
The road incident occurred on October 30 in the village of Tash-Koroo in the Alai district. The HOWO truck collided with a Tesla passenger car, resulting in the driver and four passengers dying on the spot.
The investigation established that four of the deceased were born in 1992, and one in 1991. The day before, they had attended the funeral of a friend's mother, who had died in another traffic accident, and were returning home at the time of the tragedy.
All five men were classmates and had families. They were buried the same day at the cemetery in the village of Ken-Zhilga in the Tilektesh ayil district.
