According to the agency's data, on November 1 at approximately 11:30 in the village of Zhylyu-Suu in the city of Gulcha, Alay district, a collision occurred between two trucks on the 71 km of the Osh–Irkeshtam highway.
Preliminary data indicates that the driver of the Shacman truck, born in 2000, a resident of the Kara-Suu district, B.N., crossed into the oncoming lane while traveling from the city of Osh towards Gulcha, and collided with a FAW Jiefang truck, driven by a 1985-born citizen of China, V.T. This vehicle was traveling from Gulcha towards Osh. As a result of the collision, a fire broke out in the cabins of both vehicles.
Unfortunately, the driver of the FAW Jiefang truck died at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the Shacman truck, B.N., and his passenger, a 2003-born resident of the Batken region, T. uulu B., sustained injuries and were taken to the Alay district hospital.
Turmush previously reported that as a result of the accident, traffic on the road was blocked for more than two hours.
This is already the third major traffic accident with fatalities in the last two weeks, according to official data that has been presented.
On October 31, a tragedy occurred on the international highway Osh–Sary-Tash–Irkeshtam, in which five young men in a Tesla vehicle were killed.
According to the press service of the Osh regional police, 24-year-old E.A., a resident of the region, was detained as a suspect in this accident. The court in the Alay district decided on November 1 to place him in custody for two months.
The traffic accident occurred on October 30 in the village of Tash-Koroo in the Alay district when a HOWO truck collided with a Tesla passenger car. As a result of this incident, the driver and four passengers of the car died at the scene.
The investigation established that four of the deceased were born in 1992, and one in 1991. They were returning home after the funeral of a friend's mother, who had died in another traffic accident, when this tragedy occurred.
All five men were classmates, each had families. The funerals took place the same day at the cemetery in the village of Ken-Zhylga in the Tilektesh ayil district.
