On August 22, a resident of the village of Kenesh, located in the Issyk-Ata district, approached the police. He stated that his acquaintance took his car, a "Mercedes-Benz 213," but did not pay its value of $13,500. This incident was registered as fraud under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The law enforcement authorities detained 36-year-old Sh.Sh. and placed him in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation established that the suspect pawned the car to his acquaintance for $5,000 and then fled. Subsequently, this car was sold.
