As a result of operational activities, law enforcement identified the suspect — citizen U.R., born in 1966. A criminal case has been initiated under Articles 283 (illegal production of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances without the purpose of sale) and 267 (illegal trafficking in weapons and ammunition) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During a search of the detained person's residence, two packages containing a brownish substance with a characteristic smell of cannabis, a homemade smoking pipe, a plastic bottle, as well as a homemade pistol, a sawed-off shotgun, a grenade, eight cartridges, a shell, gunpowder, and two knives were found. For the seized items, examinations have been appointed.
The suspect has been sent to a temporary detention facility. The court in the area has decided to place him in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
