Security service employees in the Chuy region conducted an operation during which a citizen identified as G.A.T. was detained. He is suspected of organizing a drug trafficking channel. This information was provided by the press center of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
The detention took place on November 17, when the suspect attempted to sell more than one kilogram of "Afghan charas" (hashish resin). According to security services, he is one of the key organizers of the scheme for delivering drugs from Tajikistan through Osh to the Chuy region.
On the following day, November 18, the Oktyabrsky District Court decided to place the suspect in custody, and he was sent to facility No. 21 of the State Penitentiary Service (GSIN).
The GKNB reports that investigative actions and operational-search activities regarding this case are currently ongoing.
