According to the SCNS, there has been a recent increase in cases of spreading false information on social media, including from anonymous and fake accounts, concerning the energy crisis and the presence of foreign citizens in the country.
During the investigation, the administrator of the account predator4407 was identified as a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, A. D. S., born in 1979. According to the investigation, he maintains connections with destructive groups outside the country and, following their instructions, intensified publications containing calls for mass riots and violent seizure of power, as well as gathering confidential information about government officials.
According to the investigation, A. D. S. created more than 20 fake accounts on Instagram and Facebook, where he left provocative comments under current news, contributing to the formation of a negative opinion about the authorities' activities and causing public discontent.
A. D. S. was detained as part of a criminal case under articles related to mass riots and public calls for the violent seizure of power and was placed in the SCNS detention center.
The agency warns of possible criminal liability for publishing and disseminating false information using anonymous and fake accounts.
