Representatives of the security services noted that the actions of certain individuals created a shortage of coal at social bases, which, in turn, led to price increases and dissatisfaction among the population. During the investigation, it was found that some truck drivers, instead of delivering coal to social facilities, were taking it from Kara-Keche and delivering it to retail points in Bishkek.

It was also established that some owners of social bases were redirecting part of the coal to their own retail points, where it was sold at inflated prices. There were recorded cases where the highest quality fuel was selected, packaged in bags, and sold at retail.
The GKNB continues to carry out investigative and operational activities aimed at identifying all participants in this scheme and completely halting illegal activities.
