During the trip, the minister familiarized himself with the operation of coal deposits and assessed the current situation on-site. According to the report from the management of OJSC "Kyrgyzkomur," since the beginning of 2025, 978,584 tons of coal have been extracted in Kara-Keche, which has been distributed among the population and for the needs of the Bishkek CHPP. A total of 255 units of equipment are involved in this work. The republic has 132 fuel depots where coal is sold at prices ranging from 3,290 to 6,800 soms, depending on the region and logistics costs. Two coal sorting machines are operating at the site.
The minister also visited the Ak-Ulak coal deposit, where 30% of the extracted coal is directed to the CHPP. According to local leaders, coal is also supplied to the population and for social needs. Currently, a sorting machine is being installed at this deposit. After it is launched, small coal will be sent to the CHPP, while large coal will be provided to the population.

Following the visit, the minister instructed the management to ensure a stable supply of coal to the population, organize round-the-clock work for drivers, and guarantee that citizens have access to coal at reasonable prices.
