He tried to obtain $10,000 for a favorable court decision
The State Committee for National Security (SCNS) reported the detention of the former head of the apparatus of the Jayil District Court.
According to information from the security service, in November 2023, a judge and D.A.K., who previously headed the court's apparatus, extorted $10,000 from the brother of the defendant, promising to help obtain a positive verdict.
In the same month, the applicant paid 480,000 soms to D.A.K. as part of the agreed amount for a favorable resolution of his brother's case. However, the requested verdict was not issued, and the defendant was convicted.
The former head of the apparatus of the Jayil District Court, A.D.K., was detained and placed in pre-trial detention center No. 1.
