The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCNS) reported the detention of the former head of the apparatus of the Jayil District Court.
According to the committee's information, during operational-search activities aimed at identifying corruption schemes among judicial workers, data was collected regarding the unlawful actions of a judge and the former head of the apparatus of the Jayil District Court, known as D.A.K.
It was established that in November 2023, these individuals, acting together, extorted money from Y.M.M., who is the brother of the defendant A.D.M. They promised to help for a sum of 10 thousand US dollars in issuing a favorable court decision.
In the same month, Y.M.M. transferred to D.A.K. the amount of 480 thousand soms, which was part of the agreed sum to achieve a positive decision in his brother's case. However, the desired result was not achieved, and the defendant was convicted.
As a result of operational-investigative actions, D.A.K. was detained and placed in the pre-trial detention center No. 21 of the State Penitentiary Service.
