She was receiving money for assistance in obtaining citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic
Employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) detained the chief specialist of the public service center of the Suzak district on suspicion of accepting bribes.
According to law enforcement agencies, P.B.M. regularly accepted money from citizens under the pretext of helping them obtain citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic. She was detained while attempting to return 21,000 soms via an electronic wallet. Currently, P.B.M. is in the GKNB detention center.
The State Committee reminded that citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic can be granted to foreigners exclusively by presidential decree and on a gratuitous basis, except for the state fees established by law.
Currently, the GKNB continues its investigation to uncover other extortion cases related to the detainee, as well as other officials who may be involved in this case.
