The press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region reported the detention of a man in the Moscow district who is suspected of possessing drugs and firearms. The information was received on November 13, 2025, when the Moscow district police department was informed that a citizen was using narcotic substances and storing them at home along with firearms in the village of Sadovoe.
The conducted check allowed the identification of the detained individual — he turned out to be a 56-year-old citizen U.R., born in 1966.
In connection with the identified facts, a criminal case has been initiated under Articles 283 and 267 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of narcotic substances and illegal trafficking of weapons.
During a search of the residence of citizen U.R., two packages containing a brown substance with a characteristic smell of cannabis, weighing 138 and 102 grams, were found, as well as a homemade smoking pipe, a plastic bottle, a homemade pistol, a sawed-off shotgun, a grenade, eight ammunition rounds, one cartridge, one shell casing, a box of gunpowder, and two knives.
All seized items and substances will be subjected to forensic examination.
In accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, citizen U.R. was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The district court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention.
Further investigation is ongoing.
