The department learned that a citizen with the initials S.T., born in 1998, was calling for the overthrow of the government through mass riots.
In connection with this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 278 of the Criminal Code, concerning mass riots.
“In response to the received information, necessary investigative and operational actions were initiated. During searches at the suspect's place of residence, evidence was collected. S.T. was taken to the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for further investigative activities as provided by current legislation,” the official statement specifies.
The investigation is ongoing.
