The investigation suggests that several faculty members issued fake academic certificates and transcripts to students, allowing about 200 students to illegally transfer to Polytechnic.
As a result of the investigation, Associate Professor of KGTU Sh.A.A. was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the SCNS.
The search for other possible accomplices in the crime is ongoing as part of the case.
According to information on the university's website, the initials Sh.A.A. may refer to Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Sharshybaev Almazbek Amanbekovich.
