According to information provided by the Turmush press service of the Osh region's Internal Affairs Department, employees of the air transport department received information that several citizens were exchanging currency at this airport without the necessary license.
After this information was registered, an investigation began.
“During the investigation, the identities of the suspects were established: K. uulu A., born in 1994, and T.M., born in 1979, who were engaged in currency exchange without the required documents,” the statement said.
Based on the collected information and in accordance with Article 299 of the Code of Offenses (“Conducting banking operations without a license”), the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic imposed an administrative fine of 17,500 soms,” the press service added.
