"Toyota Camry" with schoolchildren fell off a cliff - police found out that the driver was unlicensed

As part of the investigation into the traffic accident on the Osh — Sary-Tash — Irkeshtam highway, it was found that the driver did not have a license.

According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Osh region, it was established during the check that the minor A.B., born in 2009, was driving the vehicle without a driver's license.

A specialist in social support for children from the Department of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Alay District submitted a statement requesting measures be taken against the individuals who allowed the minor A.B. to operate the vehicle. It was revealed that the car belongs to his older brother. For allowing his younger brother to use the car, a criminal case has been initiated against the older brother under Article 315 ("Allowing a person in a state of intoxication to operate a motor vehicle") of the Criminal Code.

Currently, investigative measures are being conducted.

Turmush wrote that on the Osh—Alaï road, near the village of Tash-Koro, a car with schoolchildren fell into a ravine. The accident occurred on November 16. One teenager died at the scene, while another was taken to the hospital in serious condition and later transferred to the Osh Interregional Hospital. According to the Traffic Safety Department, the driver, born in 2009, lost control of the vehicle. There were three other schoolchildren in the car, and they were not injured.
