- According to information, the incident happened on November 16 at approximately 20:20 on the 66.4th kilometer of the international highway Osh—Sary-Tash—Erketchtam, in the village of Tash-Koro, when a Toyota Camry 30 car rolled off a cliff.
At the scene of the accident, a passenger — 15-year-old A.N. from Gülchö — was killed. Other passengers, also residents of this city, S.B. (born in 2008), B.A. (born in 2009), and B.A. (born in 2008), were injured and taken to the Alaï district hospital.
The school director, Ainura Chokoeva, reported that three of the injured students are pupils of her institution.
“All of them studied with us: two have already graduated from the 9th grade, while three continue their studies. The deceased was an outstanding student and actively participated in competitions. He was buried yesterday. One of the injured broke his leg and is studying at home. The other is also our student and shows good progress in his studies. Recently, the students who completed the 9th grade invited others to go to Chiyirchik,” Chokoeva said.
