According to available data, on November 3, 2025, at 18:32, 7-month-old K.B.M. was brought to the Alay district hospital in serious condition. The child's mother reported that the baby was experiencing bleeding from the oral cavity, lower lip, and upper palate, and was in a pale and weakened state.
According to the parents, the incident happened around 14:30 that same day when their 7-year-old older son accidentally shot his younger brother with a toy gun while playing at home. Initially, they went to the Family Doctors Group (FDG) in the village of Sopu-Korgon, and then to the General Practice Center in the city of Gulcho. After that, the baby was referred to the Osh regional combined clinical children's hospital.
At the emergency room, the child received first aid, with stitches applied to the tear in the lower lip. Due to the complex location of the wound on the palate, additional examinations were ordered. An X-ray confirmed the presence of a bullet in the back of the skull.
By the doctors' decision, the child, diagnosed with "Cerebral edema due to injury," was placed in the neurosurgery department for further examination in the operating room.
As of today, the patient's condition is assessed as moderate. Body temperature is stable, and there are no signs of bleeding. However, the baby cannot swallow independently and is receiving nutrition through a gastric tube. Treatment continues under the supervision of a neurosurgeon, an ENT doctor, and an ophthalmologist.
The press service of the Osh region police reported that the incident has been registered at the Alay district police department, and investigative actions are ongoing. The parents refused to file a complaint regarding the incident.
