Earlier, information had appeared on social media that in the village of Zher-Kapchigay, a woman was hospitalized after being beaten by her husband.
According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Jalal-Abad region, on November 9 at 21:50, information was received in the duty unit of the Chatkal District Department of Internal Affairs from the medics of the district hospital. That same evening, at 21:50, a resident named S.M., born in 1984, went to the surgical department with injuries.
This case was registered in the electronic journal of statements and reports of the Chatkal District Department of Internal Affairs, and an investigation is currently underway.
Preliminary inquiries showed that S.M. was hospitalized with various injuries. According to her, her husband E.B., born in 1982, came home drunk and started a scandal. Scared, the woman ran out of the house and hid at a neighbor's.
Later, while returning, she accidentally fell from a cliff about 7-8 meters high. S.M. clarified that there was no physical violence from her husband, and it was her brother who helped her by lifting her from the cliff and taking her to the hospital.
A forensic medical examination is being conducted to determine the severity of the injuries sustained, and the results confirmed that E.B. was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
The investigation into this case is ongoing.
