According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Osh region, within the framework of this initiative, owners of firearms who have permits for their storage and use were checked.
The results of the inspection showed that two individuals did not comply with the requirements for registering their firearms. Based on Article 134 of the Code of Violations, concerning the untimely registration of firearms, gas, pneumatic, throwing, and electric weapons, they were fined 3,000 soms each.
Additionally, the safes containing weapons of three citizens who traveled abroad were sealed and temporarily blocked to prevent possible incidents. One firearm was confiscated due to its unserviceability, and another, belonging to a deceased owner, was temporarily transferred to the ROVD until a final decision is made.
