In Uzgen, an inspection of central markets was conducted to ensure compliance with sanitary norms and food safety regulations, as reported by the Uzgen Interdistrict Center for Disease Prevention and Sanitary-Epidemiological Control.

During the inspection, meat shops, trading points, and toilets were examined at markets such as "Kelechek," "Took," "Mömö-jemish," and "Metrazh."

As a result of the inspection, serious violations were found, including the absence of labels on products, as well as information about the production date and the manufacturer's address. Relevant orders and recommendations were issued to the responsible individuals.

Consequently, due to the identified violations of sanitary requirements, a fine of 42,000 soms was imposed on the managers of the small markets. In addition, the toilets at the "Kelechek" and "Took" markets have been temporarily closed until the completion of repair work.
