The organizers of the marathon — the Batken City Center "Nur" for the development and support of children and the city department of physical culture and sports — invited children with disabilities from Batken and neighboring districts.
As a result of the competition, the winners received diplomas, medals, and cash prizes from the city sports department, while all participants were rewarded with gifts from local sponsors.
Representatives from various city organizations also participated in the marathon.
There are 21,990 people with disabilities living in the Batken region. Additional events aimed at supporting this category of citizens were held in each district of the region.
