In an interview with a Turmush correspondent, Kylychbek spoke about his birth in 1958 in the village of Kuiruchuk in the Jumgal district. “My first wife passed away ten years ago. We had four children — two daughters and two sons. Now I am in my second marriage with Maria Saparova, and we have been together for three years. My youngest son is a first-group disabled person and has been blind since birth. I created the fund ‘Daiyma zhashoo kerek umut menen’ to help children with special needs, inspired by my son’s example,” he shared.
Kylychbek noted that he met his second half through the work of the fund, where she has been actively involved from the very beginning, working with disabled children. “Her kindness and understanding of the children’s condition became the foundation for our close relationship,” he added.
Maria Saparova works as a teacher of the Kyrgyz language and literature at the ‘Kelechek’ school in Dmitrievka, while Kylychbek, being retired, continues to actively engage in his charitable activities.
The Kylychbekov family participated in the ‘Üch muun’ contest, prepared by their blind son-singer. “We performed on behalf of our fund. Our son has been singing since childhood and has won many festivals. He prepared us for the performance, and despite the nerves, the event went wonderfully,” he recalled.
Kylychbek Zhekishov gave wise advice to young families: “Agreement and respect between spouses are the main things. You should not create barriers in communication with children. It is important to be together in any situation. I regularly go to the gym with my son, and sometimes with my wife. The main thing is to support each other and not lose faith in the best,” he concluded.
