Currently, Batyrbekov lives in Kum-Aryk, located in the Talas region. In 2005, he graduated from the J. Balasagyn University, and then in 2014, he completed his studies at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after Major General E. Aliyev.
“Since 2008, I have been serving as a juvenile affairs inspector at the Aitmatov District Department of Internal Affairs, formerly known as the Kara-Buurin District. Currently, I hold the position of senior duty inspector at the Manas District Department of Internal Affairs and am a police major,” Batyrbekov said.
Since early childhood, he dreamed of becoming a police officer, inspired by his father.
“I receive great support from my family in my work, as my dad also worked in the police for many years and is now retired. I am the second police officer in our family; my father was the first. In my childhood, I often took his cap and wore it when he returned from work. I wanted to serve the people in a police uniform, just like him. Now, together with my wife, we are raising two daughters and a son,” Batyrbekov shared.
In conclusion, he recalled one of the most memorable cases from his practice:
“In 2017, when I was an investigator at the Talas District Department of Internal Affairs, there was an incident where a car hit a person in one of the villages in the district. Passing drivers called the police. Thanks to surveillance cameras, we quickly found the car and its driver. We were able to prove that he was behind the wheel at the time of the accident, but it was difficult to file charges due to a lack of evidence. This case will forever remain in my memory,” Batyrbekov noted.
