Ermart Sasikov, a police major and senior district inspector of the territorial police department in the village of Sosnovka, has been serving in the internal affairs system for 16 years.

He was born on March 7, 1983, in the village of Erkin-Sai in the Panfilov district, and he has a family: a wife and three children.

Since childhood, the dream of serving in the police has been important to him, and he decided to follow this path after his military service and studies.

In 2005, he graduated from university, and in 2006, he served in an anti-aircraft missile brigade. He began his career in the police in 2009.

Since then, he has held various positions and received awards for his work.

Today, Ermart continues to serve with honor, dreaming of sharing his experience with future generations of employees. In his free time, he actively participates in sports events.
Recently, Ermart became a hero when he saved a father and son who had fallen into a canal along with their car. He shared the details of the incident:

“That day, we responded to a call in the village of Sary-Bulak to inspect the crime scene. Late in the evening, around 11:00 PM, my colleague and I returned to Sosnovka. Then I headed home in my car.

Suddenly, one car overtook me and, after driving about 20 meters, fell into the canal at a turn. I immediately stopped and rushed to the scene. I promptly informed my colleague who remained on duty. The water flow was very strong, and the car was stuck at the pipe.

The driver managed to push his son out of the car and shouted, ‘Save my child!’ I carefully approached along the pipe and grabbed the boy. At that moment, 2–3 more people ran up. I still remember their shouts: ‘Take the child and jump quickly, the car is about to float away!’

I threw the boy to the shore and jumped in after him. At that moment, the car broke loose and flowed under the pipe. The driver managed to get out and grabbed the pipe. Local residents arrived, and one of them had a rope. I shouted for him to throw it to the driver. He tried several times, but the rope didn’t reach. The driver shouted that he was running out of strength and would let go soon.

On the third try, the rope finally reached, and the driver managed to grab it. We pulled him to the shore. By that time, my partner had also arrived. That’s how we managed to save the lives of the father and son. The car was later found about a kilometer downstream — it got stuck and stopped,” the major recounted.
