According to her, the harvested vegetables will be used to feed the children throughout the year.
“On the territory of our garden, we created a labor plot, where we planted cucumbers, tomatoes, corn, beets, carrots, onions, cabbage, and pumpkins in the spring. In the summer, our staff came to monitor the plants, watering and weeding them. In September, we already started preparing vitamin salads from the cucumbers and tomatoes harvested from our plot. The harvest is ongoing, and we are introducing the children to the process, telling them about various plants. The supplies of onions, carrots, and beets will last for the whole year. I did not include these vegetables in the tender, as I do not have confidence in their quality when purchasing. We grew them without the use of chemical fertilizers, ensuring environmentally friendly products — this is important for the health of our children. This year, we cultivated an area of 5 acres, and next year we plan to plant vegetables between the currant bushes,” noted E. Urmanbetova.
