Youth actively participates in transforming the city
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, the "Urban Marathon" took place, as reported by representatives of the city administration.
The event was held at the Ololo Planet coworking space and aimed to engage young people in issues related to urban development and urbanism.
Vice Mayor Ramiz Aliyev emphasized that the city authorities are ready to support initiatives aimed at improving the city's infrastructure.
During the marathon, presentations of the Urban Space platform were held, a panel discussion on the topic "The Future of Sustainable Cities," as well as a showcase of video works and project defenses by the participants.
Eleven teams presented their ideas, covering digital, architectural, ecological, and design aspects for the development of Bishkek.
At the end of the discussions, the jury selected the winners, who were awarded certificates and prizes.
