More than 500 trees have been planted in the capital
In Bishkek, as part of the city’s ecological initiative for greening, Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, along with his deputies, planted more than 500 trees. This information was announced by the press service of the mayor's office.

The tree planting took place on the grounds of secondary school No. 102, as well as along Baytik Baatyra Street from Isy Akhunbaev to Kasymaly Jantoshev. A variety of trees were planted here, including birches, thujas, maples, and oaks.

As a result of the event, more than 500 trees were planted in the capital that day.

After the planting was completed, the mayor symbolically tied ribbons on the newly planted trees, emphasizing the importance of caring for green spaces.

He stressed that greening is not a one-time event but a process that requires constant care. The mayor instructed the responsible services to ensure regular watering and maintenance of the new trees so that they take root and do not remain neglected after planting.

“Planting a tree is just the beginning. The main thing is to take care of it and protect it. Only then can we make Bishkek a truly green and comfortable city,” noted Aibek Junushaliev.

It is also worth noting that in the fall, more than 6,500 trees have already been planted in Bishkek. Greening efforts are ongoing, and by the end of the year, the total number of planted trees will exceed 15,000. In the spring of this year, 7,824 trees were planted.
