As part of the environmental campaign for greening, the mayor of the capital, Aybek Junushaliev, together with his deputies, planted more than 500 trees in Bishkek, as reported by the city hall. The event took place on the grounds of secondary school No. 102, as well as along Baytik Baatyr Street, where birches, thujas, maples, and oaks were planted on the western side from Isa Akhunbaev Street to Kasymaly Jantoshev Street.

In total, more than 500 trees were planted in the city that day.

After the planting was completed, Aybek Junushaliev, along with the participants of the campaign, tied ribbons on the trees, emphasizing the importance of caring for green spaces.

The mayor noted that greening is not a one-time action but a comprehensive effort that requires constant attention. He instructed the responsible services to organize regular watering and care for the newly planted trees so that all saplings take root successfully.

"Planting a tree is just the first step. The main thing is to preserve, care for, and protect it. This way we will make Bishkek green and comfortable," the mayor stated.

Since the beginning of autumn, more than 6,500 trees have already been planted in Bishkek, and by the end of the year, the total number of plantings will exceed 15,000. It is worth noting that in the spring of this year, 7,824 trees were planted.
