The tree planting took place on the grounds of secondary school No. 102, as well as along Baytik Baatyr Street — on the section from Akhunbaev Street to Jantoshev Street. Here, birches, thujas, maples, and oaks were planted.
During the event, more than 500 trees were planted in Bishkek.
The city mayor instructed the responsible services to organize regular watering and care for the new plantings so that all saplings successfully take root and do not go unattended after planting.
Since the beginning of autumn, more than 6,500 trees have already been planted in Bishkek. Greening efforts are ongoing, and by the end of the year, the total number of plantings will exceed 15,000. In the spring of this year, 7,824 trees were planted.
