In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, in Botaliyev Park, a "Alley of Life" was organized to support women facing oncological diseases. During the event, participants planted 100 trees, including 60 catalpas and 40 maples. This was reported by the deputy head of the public organization "Oncomaster's Workshop 'Together for Life'" Almagul Ibraeva, as conveyed by 24.kg.
The event gathered many participants, including the mayor of Bishkek Aibek Junushaliev, representatives of the Ministry of Health, members of the Jogorku Kenesh, as well as leading oncologists from the National Oncology Center. Among those present were women who have overcome cancer and those currently undergoing treatment.
The organization of the event was timed to coincide with the World Month for Breast Cancer Awareness, and the initiators were the public organization "Oncomaster's Workshop 'Together for Life'."
According to Almagul Ibraeva, this event is not only a contribution from women to the greening of the city but also an important symbol for all who face this disease. "We organized this event as a message to the whole world — 'continuation of life against all odds.' Just like young trees that strive for the sun despite all difficulties, women who have gone through oncology strive for a healthy and bright future," she noted.
The deputy head of the organization also expressed hope that the event will become an annual tradition and receive support from the government.
