62-year-old athlete from Naryn took 1st place in the marathon in Kazakhstan

Naryn athlete Tolgonai Shaaeva won the marathon in Kazakhstan.

On October 26, the "Turkistan Marathon" took place in Turkestan, where Tolgonai secured first place in her age group of 60-69 years, as reported by Meerim Duyshieva, a representative of the Naryn Pedagogical College.

She completed the 42 kilometers in 3 hours and 35 minutes, setting a record for the competition and demonstrating excellent results. More than 10,000 athletes, including over a hundred Kyrgyzstani participants, took part in the marathon, with ages ranging from 18 to 80 years.
Tolgonai Shaaeva shared that she was impressed by the history and beauty of Turkestan.

According to her, this victory is significant for her preparation for the marathon that will take place in the USA.

Shaaeva Tolgonai Nurpayisovna, born on April 8, 1963, is currently 62 years old.
