Nursultan Keneshbekov Wins Again at the International Race in Kazakhstan

At the international Turkistan Marathon, held on October 26 in Turkestan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz runner Nursultan Keneshbekov once again demonstrated his outstanding abilities, taking first place. This was reported by Prosports.kz.

Keneshbekov completed the distance of 21.1 km in 1 hour, 3 minutes, and 39 seconds, finishing more than a minute and a half ahead of the second place. Interestingly, he also won this marathon last year, setting a national record for Kyrgyzstan at that time.

This season, Nursultan has already claimed victory in the half marathon in Almaty, which took place on September 28, and also finished second in a similar race in Kazan on October 5, while breaking his own record.

As for the full marathon distance of 42.195 km, among men, Ilya Tyapkin finished fourth with a time of 2 hours, 24 minutes, and 58 seconds, while among women, Zharkynai Toichubaeva took fifth place, completing the distance in 3 hours, 6 minutes, and 41 seconds.

Additionally, the event featured a children's race of 3 km, where the winner was Valeria Minadirova, who completed the distance in 11 minutes and 31 seconds.

The marathon gathered participants from various countries and became a significant event for the international marathon season in Central Asia.
