The composition of the Kyrgyzstan national judo team has been published for participation in the Sixth Islamic Solidarity Games, which will take place from November 7 to 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as reported by Prosports.kz.
The judo competitions will be held on November 8 and 9, where 14 sets of medals will be contested for men and women.
The men's team includes the following athletes:
— up to 66 kg: Erbol Abasbekov
— up to 73 kg: Nurmukhammed Bakirdinov
— up to 81 kg: Tegin Almazhan uulu
— up to 90 kg: Erlan Sherov
— over 100 kg: Emirhan Zholdoshkaziev
At the previous tournament in Konya (Turkey), the athletes from Kyrgyzstan were unable to win any medals. However, the team is determined to improve their results and compete for awards at the upcoming Games.
In 2025, the Islamic Solidarity Games will gather participants from various countries for competitions in different disciplines, with judo being one of the key sports at this tournament.
