
The competition, which will take place on the Kerme-Tuu rock massif near the city of Osh, will gather more than 50 athletes from various countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. Participants will be provided with a special rock course to demonstrate their skills in mountain tourism and climbing.
Vladimir Agafonov, president of the Federation of Sports Tourism of Kyrgyzstan, emphasized the significance of this event: "It is a great honor for us to host a stage of the World Cup. Kyrgyzstan is a mountainous country, and our mountains, along with our hospitality, will create a unique atmosphere for participants and guests."
The main goals of the event are to develop the sport, promote sports tourism, and strengthen international ties.
