Gulnura Tashtanbekova won bronze at the youth world wrestling championship


At the tournament organized by the United World Wrestling (UWW), Gulnura competed in the weight category up to 68 kg. In the decisive match for third place, she won against Gerda Barz from Germany, finishing the bout with a score of 4:2.

This is already the second medal for the women's national team of Kyrgyzstan at the championship. Earlier, Nurzat Nurtayeva, competing in the weight category up to 72 kg, won the title of world champion by defeating American Jasmine Dolores Robinson in the final with a score of 11:10.

Additionally, Kairkul Sharshabayeva, representing Kyrgyzstan in the weight category up to 76 kg, fought for the bronze medal but unfortunately lost to European champion Elmira Yasin from Turkey with a score of 3:6, finishing in fifth place.
