Currently, Gulnura competes in the weight category up to 68 kg. Her journey to the semifinals began in the round of 16, where she achieved a convincing victory over Mexican Debani Garcia with a score of 12:4. Then, in the quarterfinal match, the Kyrgyz athlete left no chances for Italian Laura Godino, finishing the fight with a score of 7:0.
Now Gulnura is preparing for the semifinals, where her opponent will be one of two athletes: the winner of the match between Nersin Bas from Turkey or Gerda Barz from Germany.
Gulnura's advancement to the semifinals is an important achievement for the Kyrgyz wrestling school and confirms the high level of training of the country's young female athletes.
