
The Central Election Commission reported that 9,364 citizens of Kyrgyzstan, which constitutes 90.6% of the total number of voters, took the opportunity to vote outside the polling stations. A total of 10,335 applications for remote voting were submitted to 1,324 electoral commissions out of 2,492.
The distribution of voters by categories is as follows:
– people over 60 years old — 3,323;
– disabled individuals — 1,933;
– citizens with health limitations — 3,591;
– representatives of specific groups of voters — 517.
Remote voting was organized for those who were unable to come to their polling station for various reasons. Such citizens include:
– individuals with disabilities;
– patients in medical institutions;
– detainees in pre-trial detention;
– residents of remote areas or pastures;
– military personnel;
– law enforcement officers working on the day of voting;
– workers of enterprises operating around the clock;
– shift workers;
– referendum participants under house arrest;
– military personnel fulfilling their duties in remote locations.
