
On November 29, a day of silence has arrived in Kyrgyzstan.
According to established rules, pre-election campaigning ends 24 hours before voting takes place. The campaigning started on November 10.
On this day, early voting outside polling stations is also conducted.
As reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to prevent possible violations on the day of silence, more than 10,000 law enforcement officers are working in an enhanced mode.
The Central Election Commission has registered 461 candidates to participate in the early elections.
Tomorrow, November 30, elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh will take place.
In the country, 30 electoral districts have been organized, with three deputies to be elected from each. In total, the parliament consists of 90 deputies.
Across the country, 2,492 polling stations are open, and there are 100 abroad.
Additionally, 27 mobile polling stations will operate.
The mobile stations will be located in airports (in departure and arrival zones), at major markets, shopping centers, pre-trial detention centers, medical institutions, and other places with high foot traffic.
According to the CEC, the voter list includes 4,294,243 people, of which 2,081,514 are men (48.47%) and 2,212,729 are women (51.52%).
