In connection with the elections for the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, which will take place on November 30, 2025, the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic announced that the country's energy services will operate in a state of increased readiness.
The main task is to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply for voters and polling stations.
To achieve this goal, 1,243 employees of the power grids will be on round-the-clock duty, and 383 operational teams will be ready to respond at any time.
“Special equipment and vehicles for the teams have been prepared for rapid response. In case of emergency situations, energy workers will be provided with everything necessary for the prompt elimination of accidents,” the ministry emphasized.
