In the run-up to the elections for the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic conducted a draw to determine the order of candidates in the ballots. This event covered 30 electoral districts across the country.
According to the CEC, the draw involved not only the candidates themselves but also their authorized representatives, journalists, and observers from public and international organizations.
The main goal of this procedure was to allocate free airtime on state television channels and radio stations, as well as print space in state periodicals among the candidates. In addition, the participants signed a memorandum confirming their participation in the elections.
The draw for the order of inclusion of registered candidates in the ballots takes place after the registration is completed and before the final approval of the ballot text.
The results of the draw, which show the order in which candidates will be presented in the ballots, as well as the text of the memorandum, are available via the provided link.
It should be reminded that the early elections for the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh will take place on November 30. In each district, candidates will compete for three deputy mandates. A total of 90 deputies will be elected to the parliament from 30 districts.
