The boundaries of district No. 27 encompass: the city of Cholpon-Ata and all rural districts of Toru-Aigyr-Tamchinsky, Shaiybek-Atinsky, J. Abdrakhmanov, and Sadyrakensky of the Issyk-Kul region; as well as Karasaevsky, Issyk-Kulsky, Balbaysky, Karkyrinsky, and Tyupsky rural districts of the Tyup region; fully included are the Khan-Tenirsky, Karakolsky, Altyn Arashansky, and Kydyrakensky rural districts of the Ak-Suu region.
