As noted by the chairman of the Ak-Talinsky district territorial election commission, Belek Bayyshbekov, this decision was made in connection with the early elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh of the 8th convocation. Portable ballot boxes have been organized for citizens with disabilities who are unable to visit polling stations due to health reasons.
At the moment, 158 voters have submitted applications for voting outside the premises.
Today, as part of the early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, voting outside polling stations is being conducted. This format is intended for those who, due to health reasons or other valid reasons, cannot personally be present at the polling station.
Such citizens include hospital patients, individuals in custody, residents of remote areas and seasonal pastures, as well as military personnel and law enforcement officers on duty. It also applies to employees of enterprises with continuous schedules, shift workers, and citizens under house arrest, provided their place of residence is within the corresponding polling station's boundaries.
Voting outside the polling station is conducted one day before the main election day, from 08:00 to 20:00, and is carried out only based on a written application from the voter.
