
In the capital municipality, a meeting of the headquarters dedicated to preparations for the extraordinary elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic took place. The meeting was chaired by the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, with the participation of representatives from law enforcement agencies and city services.
At the meeting, the heads of the four districts of the capital provided reports on the readiness of the precinct electoral commissions and the organizational work completed. Aibek Junushaliev emphasized the need for strict compliance with the legislation during the election campaign, reminding everyone of their personal responsibility in the process. He also announced the temporary suspension of the head of MTU No. 203 from his position due to violations of election legislation, which has led to a service investigation being initiated.
Furthermore, the mayor of Bishkek instructed law enforcement representatives to ensure order on election day. As a result of the meeting, it was decided that the akims of the districts and the heads of city services must resolve all organizational and technical issues, including ensuring stable electricity supply for all precinct electoral commissions and monitoring the quality of internet connectivity.
